Nice to see some consistent effort....in any game there will be ebbs and flows.

Plus, i'm happy to see Homer at this time, keep the youth intact. Let them grow.

That could have been a real turning point game last night. 2 games in a row where they came back in the third instead of collapsing. Very exciting game to watch them out play them in the third and win it. Good to see Coots score. Been awhile.

Who needs OEL? We have OHL!! (Oliver Holton Lauridsen).

STILL undefeated as a Flyer.

What is obvious to anyone watching this team all season is Sean Couturier starting to gain his confidence. In the last 2 or 3 games he has looked like a much different player then, well, the rest of the season.

I watched Lauridsen quite a bit last night, and agree with Bill's assessment. He looked a bit lost a few times, but he shows promise if he can improve his skating and decision making. I hope the organ-EYE-zation is patient with him.

But he's only a defensive forward according to every other team in the league who wants him first thing for any trade... Good job Homer in believing in him. I think Coots will repay you for that belief...

I like this line. I'm really not sure why and I think Couturier gets another one tonight.

I agree. It might be best for him to go back down and finish up with the Phantoms, once Grossmann comes back. He's got some potential. But he has some things to work on.

He's terrible. Trade him for Ben Bishop.

I think so as well.

I like the kids on this team. The Flyers have a solid core to build around and this team will only continue to improve as these kids grow into men!

Patience is a must and Homer showed some yesterday. To that I appluad!!!

Then you'll be let down.

real shame.

They're screwing up my draft pick after they had me all excited.

The same people that root for then to tank to get a better pick, will be the same people calling for the player to be traded when he doesn't win the hart trophy in year one. Or comes back after a breakout season and struggles.
- JoeRussomanno

Why do you say that? Hoping for a high draft pick with all else is lost does not mean that the person wants a player to be traded in a bad year.

I want 30th if the flyers are in 28th near the end. I wanted to keep Bob. I want to keep Coots and Schenn. I LIKE young talent that needs to develop.. Why would you even make that statement?

Wouldn't Hall be the center of the 4th line, not Rusty?

Totally agree.

It seemed like the entirety of the national media (and Flyers fans, to a certain extent) was expecting Homer to do something rash yesterday.

Good for Homer for not dealing a core piece yesterday.

Anyone know what Ottawa wanted from the Flyers for Bishop?
